For Monika, Fortify provides a dedicated setting for one-on-one training where sessions can be tailored to the individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all program.
Her work at Fortify is an extension of her broader approach to fitness: looking at the person as a whole, understanding how they move, and creating training that supports where they are now while helping them progress over time.

About Fortify
A training and therapeutic facility

Training Built Around You
One-on-one training gives Monika the opportunity to work closely with each client and create sessions around their individual body, movement patterns, experience, goals, and current level of fitness. Rather than following a predetermined workout, sessions can incorporate a combination of:
-
Strength training
-
Functional movement
-
Core and stability work
-
Mobility and flexibility
-
Balance and coordination
-
Body awareness
-
Breathing techniques
-
Movement mechanics
-
Conditioning and cardiovascular fitness
The emphasis is on quality movement, appropriate progression, and creating a training experience that makes sense for the individual.
In addition to personal training, Monika offers InBody assessments at Fortify. An InBody assessment provides a snapshot of body composition and can offer information beyond what you see on a traditional scale. Depending on the assessment, measurements can include areas such as:
-
Body weight
-
Skeletal muscle mass
-
Body fat mass
-
Percent body fat
-
Segmental body composition
-
Basal metabolic rate
-
Body water
-
Other body composition measurements
Rather than focusing on a single number, the assessment can be used as one piece of information to better understand your current starting point and observe changes over time.
Your Assessment as a Starting Point
Body composition is only one part of the picture. An InBody assessment doesn't tell the entire story of your health, fitness, or how you feel in your body - but it can provide useful data that, when considered alongside movement, strength, lifestyle, nutrition, and personal goals, can help create a more complete picture. Monika can use this information as part of a broader conversation about your individual goals and approach to training.
Training + Assessment (Connecting the Data With the Work)
One of the benefits of offering both personal training and InBody assessments in the same setting is the ability to look at information and experience together. The assessment provides measurable data. Training provides an opportunity to work on strength, movement, fitness, and physical capacity.
Together, they can help create a more informed approach to your fitness journey. Progress isn't always reflected by the number on a scale. Changes in strength, mobility, endurance, balance, body composition, movement quality, energy, and confidence can all be meaningful indicators of progress. For Monika, the goal is not simply to collect numbers, but to use information as a tool for understanding your body and making thoughtful decisions about your training.

Meet Coach Monika Pawluskiewicz
Beyond Fitness was founded by Monika Pawluskiewicz, a personal trainer and holistic fitness coach with over two decades of experience helping clients transform their health and their relationship with wellness.
Throughout her career, Monika has seen that lasting change rarely comes from simply following another workout plan. Real transformation happens when people understand their bodies, develop sustainable habits, and receive the right support and guidance along the way.
Her approach combines personal training, nutrition coaching, mindset work, meditation, and a deep understanding of the connection between the body and mind.
Using a brain-based and body-aware approach, Monika helps clients identify what may be holding them back, simplify their routines, and create strategies that work within their real lives.
Her coaching style is rooted in education, compassion, and empowerment - helping clients not only achieve their goals but understand how to maintain them.
