Training at The Pell Hotel
Strength, movement, and personalized coaching in a small-group setting in Middletown, Rhode Island.
Beyond Fitness offers small group training sessions every week at The Pell hotel fitness facility in Middletown, Rhode Island.
These sessions are designed to provide the structure and guidance of a coached workout while keeping the group intentionally small. Participants train together through a full-body workout while receiving instruction, movement guidance, and modifications based on individual needs.
The result is a training environment that feels more personal than a traditional group fitness class, while still offering the motivation and connection that comes from exercising with others.
Located in Middletown, Rhode Island, The Pell is a boutique hotel on Aquidneck Island, just minutes from Newport. With its modern coastal atmosphere and relaxed, welcoming feel, it offers a comfortable setting for movement, connection, and wellness.

About Each Session
Each session is designed as a dynamic, full-body workout rather than focusing on just one area of fitness. A typical session may incorporate a combination of:
-
strength exercises
-
functional movement
-
mobility
-
core and stability work
-
balance
-
coordination
-
conditioning
-
breathing & more
The specific exercises and structure will vary from week to week. This allows participants to work on different aspects of fitness over time while continuing to build a foundation of strength and movement.
Format: Small group, instructor-led training
Who Can Participate?
Small Group Training is intended for adults with a range of fitness backgrounds and experience levels. You don't need to be an experienced athlete or regular gym-goer to participate.
The focus is on learning, moving well, building strength, and gradually developing fitness. Exercises can be modified when needed, making the sessions appropriate for individuals who are beginning a fitness routine as well as those who already have experience with exercise.
If you have specific injuries, medical concerns, or limitations that may affect your ability to exercise, it's always recommended to speak with your healthcare provider before beginning a new exercise program.
One of the principles behind Beyond Fitness is that fitness should be adaptable to the individual.
Two people can have completely different bodies, backgrounds, goals, and experiences with exercise - and still benefit from training together.
Small group training creates room for that individuality. Rather than approaching fitness with a one-size-fits-all mindset, the goal is to provide a structured environment where participants can learn about their bodies, develop strength and physical confidence, and build consistency over time.

A More Personal Approach to Group Fitness
Meet Coach Monika Pawluskiewicz
Beyond Fitness was founded by Monika Pawluskiewicz, a personal trainer and holistic fitness coach with over two decades of experience helping clients transform their health and their relationship with wellness.
Throughout her career, Monika has seen that lasting change rarely comes from simply following another workout plan. Real transformation happens when people understand their bodies, develop sustainable habits, and receive the right support and guidance along the way.
Her approach combines personal training, nutrition coaching, mindset work, meditation, and a deep understanding of the connection between the body and mind.
Using a brain-based and body-aware approach, Monika helps clients identify what may be holding them back, simplify their routines, and create strategies that work within their real lives.
Her coaching style is rooted in education, compassion, and empowerment - helping clients not only achieve their goals but understand how to maintain them.
